National Nurses Week and International Nursing day is the “official” time to celebrate outstanding nurses world wide. As the backbone for our healthcare system, the Mary K Center for Global Nursing Development celebrates you year-round. We especially honor a nurse’s gift of perseverance and the ability to lean on God. We believe this unique combination produces a different kind of superhero.
Nurses may not bend steal with their bare hands, but the work is not for the faint of heart. Lives are on the line and so are families. In circumstances that often can leave you speechless, a nurse with an anchor in God can give hope only a special guardian, protector or champion can give.
Therefore, we salute nurses as the resident superheroes of our community.
Thank you for always putting the mission of patient care first. Thank you for your resilience and refusal to give up. Thank you for setting aside your own challenges to tirelessly serve someone else’s family. Thank You being first in and last out. Thank you for raising your hand to say send me.
The Mary K Center is truly grateful for each nurse. We are honored to know so many of you, we trust that you do the things that matter most and that your work brings God glory.
Happy Nurses Week!
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. Heb 6:10 NIV
